FAQ

How does Paintless Dent Removal Work?

PDR works by accessing the dent from the backside of it using specially fabricated steel rods to gently massage or pry the dent out.

Will the process damage the paint?

No. We use as much heat as possible to soften the paint which makes it more flexible and keeps it from cracking during the repair process.

Will I still be able to see it after it is repaired?

In most cases the repair is completely undetectable.

How long will it take?

Repairs take anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 or 3 hours. Even the most extensive of repairs can still be completed in less than 1 day. Typically, PDR repair time is about 90% less than body shop repairs.

Is there a guarantee?

Yes! Every dent we remove is guaranteed for life and will never come back.

What size dents can be repaired using PDR?

Some of the largest dents we have removed have been over the size of a basketball!

Can creases be repaired?

Absolutely. Creases are removed to the same degree as regular dents.

Can dents on body lines be repaired?

Yes! Although slightly more time consuming, body lines can be repaired back to their original condition and made perfectly straight.

Can dents on aluminum panels be repaired?

Yes! Dents on aluminum do add approximately 25% to the repair time, but the end results is a perfect finish just like steel.

My car has hail damage. How long does it take to repair and what are the benefits of using PDR vs a body shop?

Most PDR hail claims are completed in 1-3 days. Not only will PDR save you weeks in the shop and save you over half the cost, but it will also allow you to keep the factory paint on the vehicle which helps maintain the value of your car!

Do you accept insurance work?

The Paintless Way works with all insurance companies to make sure your car is restored back to its original factory finish in as little time as possible.
